We understand how precious time is and we value your well-being as much as your skills. That is why we offer our people a 4 day work week.

This idea came from our people who during a year’s trial proved that they could fit 5 days work into 4. Studies have shown that a shorter workweek can lead to increased focus and efficiency. By condensing your work into four highly productive days, you can actually achieve more in less time. However this isn’t for everyone, you need to be efficient and enjoy a fast pace during your time in the office.

How does it work?

• Monday 8.30am – 5.30pm
• Tuesday 8.00am – 5.30pm
• Wednesday 8.00am – 5.30pm
• Thursday 8.00am – 5.30pm

Fridays are your day to enjoy. We all have the expectation to be available to work flexibly and urgently as and when we need to. We ask that you do have a remote working set up on your mobile phone – so if you are on the golf course or enjoying some fresh air (you can still be reachable for anything client or business critical. If you do want to spend the day in a spa or somewhere uncontactable you absolutely can- you just need to book it as a day’s holiday and let everyone know you are not available.

Our 4DW Expectations

• We manage to get 5 days productivity out of 4 days’ work
• Sales and output figures remain the same or better
• The level of service we provide to our clients and candidates stays exactly the same or better
• We still need to be available to take calls and respond to emails from clients and important candidates on Fridays
• If anything urgent is required across the business on a Friday, it will be actioned
• You enjoy your day off! Walk the dog, play golf, have lunch with friends or go on holiday

We offer our people unlimited holiday.

The reason why we are confident to do this comes back to our vision around trust. It isn’t easy to get a job here but when you do we trust you to deliver outstanding work and reach your agreed targets in the time you are working.

You will still have a minimum statutory holiday entitlement that you’ll need to take, but from there, so long as you are reaching your targets, you can put in for those extra days of R&R! Our people also trust and support each other. When booking extra holiday we ensure we are not  leaving the  team picking up extra work, so we ensure there are good handovers and our clients and candidates are in no way impacted by our extra holiday days

This is one of our more recent benefits and has helped provide a huge amount to mental and physical wellbeing support to our people. Announced at the beginning of 2023, this is a fantastic wellbeing platform that provides personalised experiences and support to all of us here. At the start of every month, you get an allowance to spend however you wish on any of the products and services within the Heka platform! Anything from health consultations, gym memberships, healthy meal boxes, and so much more are available.

We have recently revamped our pension offering and believe it to be very competitive. In a nutshell HPS will pay 5% of your basic salary into your pension. Your contribution as standard will be 5% and this will be taken via salary sacrifice.

This is another benefit that has recently been implemented. We understand that life can get expensive and major events can be difficult to save up for. To give an overview for this benefit, after you complete probation, you can take out interest free loans with us to help pay for the big moments in life, such as buying a new home, going on the once in a lifetime holiday, or achieving the dream wedding.

We have a wide range of regular incentives in place to reward hard work and success. Some of which includes a high-end meal at the Fat Duck, several days of activity packed fun in San-Sebastian, and day trips to London for exclusive meals and experiences. All of these have been the incentives experienced this year, plus many other moments of recognition with gift vouchers, days out, and a special lunch made by the boss himself.
Excellent customer service, smashing your targets, and exhibiting our values are all ways our people win these incentives. On top of this, there are weekly wrap ups to recognise the work done that week and celebrate consultants, as well as monthly and quarterly meetings to bring light to all the major achievements across the company.
